During the '16th Top Chinese Music Awards' which was held on April 9 at Shenzhen, China, former Super Junior member Hangeng thanked Lee Soo Man for making him the star that he is today.
Hangeng, whose name was called for Best Male Singer, first relayed his gratitude toward his fans and staff members. Then he went on to give Lee Soo Man a special honorable mention.

The singer/actor said, "[Lee Soo Man] was the one who helped me stand on this stage and guided me on my path toward becoming a singer. If not for Lee Soo Man, I would not be able to be a singer or stand on this stage right now. I want to use this opportunity to thank Lee Soo Man," and bowed deeply.
