The editors of Maxim Thailand introduced her by saying, "There's a girl group member who is perfect not only in dance and song, but who also has a doctorate. She is the leader of Korean girl group members in innocence, sexiness, and even brains."

When asked what part of her body she was the most confident about, she said, "I think my waist-to-hip line is pretty. My body line is nice in general, I think?"
Maxim said, "Thai readers like Korean photoshoots more than other foreign photoshoots. Seung Ah's last photoshoot in July 2015 had an especially hot reaction." The editor for the photoshoot said, "She was prettier than any female celebrity I'd ever seen. She could've been tired from the long photoshoot, but she was actually the one who gave energy to the staff."
