Pastor angers netizens after stating that homosexuality should be quarantined like MERS

Pastor Jeon Kwang Hoon of the Christian Liberty Party is stirring up an angry buzz among netizens for his adamant denouncement against homosexuality. 

Jeon announced during his policy speech on March 9 that "homosexuality should be quarantined nationwide like MERS and leprosy."

The pastor asserted, "Homosexuality should be prescribed as a national disease through a special law and it should be quarantined nationwide like MERS and leprosy so that people who are treated can return to normal life in society."

Jeon backed up his argument with, "AIDS costs amount to 1 trillion KRW (~$843 million) yearly. That's 30 million KRW (~$25,000) per person. The Ministry of Health and Welfare hid this truth because they didn't want to shock the citizens."
