B2ST's Kikwang has been cast in the upcoming MBC drama 'Monster'! He'll play the younger version of the lead male character.
Playing opposite him with be actress Lee Yeol Eum, who will play the younger version of the lead female character.
On January 20, both Kikwang's agency and Lee Yeol Eum's agency confirmed the casting news to MBNStar through the phone.
Kikwang and Lee Yeol Eum is expected to star in the first four episodes of the drama, as the characters in their 20s.
The lead characters have not been officially cast yet, though Hwang Jung Eum and Seo Kang Jun are considering the roles.
Seo Kang Jun is reported to have been offered the lead role (not the younger version of the lead role), but seeing as how the actor is younger than Kikwang, we're not sure how that would match up.
'Monster' is about one man's greed which leads to all kinds of hardships and adversity for him. But through this, he grows and earns love. It's going to be an epic drama with a total of 50 episodes spanning from the IMF crisis in 1997 to the present day.
