Though EXO weren't present to perform, they still won the 'Music Bank' chart with "December, 2014". Chen wrote a special message to fans on EXO's official homepage and expressed his feelings about winning the trophy.
Chen wrote, "Today, our song 'December, 2014' was #1 on 'Music Bank'! Today is also EXO's 1000th day since our debut. I'm really happy that we're able to be reminded of so many people's love on a special day like this. I hope you all have a happy and joyful new year. EXO will meet you all with better music in 2015.
