John Cho's 'Selfie' will no longer be in ABC's gallery

Bad news for 'Selfie' fans--ABC has decided to cancel Korean-American actor John Cho's romcom 'Selfie'. The network has decided to pass on purchasing anymore episodes from the show after its initial order of 13.

ABC has yet to report how many remaining episodes will be aired, but the network has assured viewers that an episode will air next Tuesday, November 11. However, after that it's pretty much up in the air as its time slot will be taken over by holiday specials throughout most of December.

ABC's recent decision has come as a surprise to some viewers, as 'Selfie' has been gaining much traction lately and doing decent in the viewer ratings. It averaged 4.7 million viewers and a 1.5 rating in the much coveted 18 to 49 age demographic. Although ABC aired back-to-back episodes this week in hopes that the show would get more exposure and viewership, it seems that the results were disappointing for the network, and not enough to save the show.
