After revealing weeks ago that 2NE1 leader CL visited the emergency room during a recording of 'Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook,' the special episode finally aired in Korea on May 23 with the theme: using music to console people who were having a difficult time, especially in light of the tragic Sewol ferry accident.
The group, for the first time ever, performed the unplugged version of their last title track, "Come Back Home." The girls wore all black and pinned the yellow ribbon, symbolic of hope during the tragedy, onto their chest as they lent their voices to this moving rendition.
They also sang "Missing You" as requested by the audience, another good and poignant choice. Despite having a sore throat on this day, CL still showed passion as she sang her heart out.
