Her agency Core Contents Media stated, "Shannon, who showcased her explosive singing ability with 'I Dreamed a Dream' from the movie 'Les Misérables' OST, Beyonce's 'Listen', and IU's 'Good Day' on 'Hidden Singer 2', will make her debut as a singer on May 15."
"We will reveal the meaning behind the dates January 29 and February 12 posted on the image... As Shannon will finish her three-year trainee period and make her debut, she is working hard as she prepares even right now... Her debut album is set to consist of various genres of songs which will showcase her talent."
Fans may remember Shannon (full name: Shannon Williams) from her beginning in the K-pop scene as the talented '4 high notes' girl on 'Star King' who later signed with Core Contents Media. She also joined 5dolls for a brief period during their hiatus, and also participated in the release of the song "Day and Night" alongside T-ara and Gavy NJ.
She is currently practicing not only singing, but rapping and dancing as well for her upcoming debut on May 15, so get ready for the mystery surprise concerning her debut coming before that on the 29th!
