Comedian Lee Won Gu, who debuted as part of KBS's 'Gag Concert' in 2007, was involved in a vehicular accident earlier today while driving under the influence.
The crash, which occurred early in the morning, saw the comedian ram into a light pole on his motorcycle. He suffered injuries to his arms and legs and is currently recuperating at a nearby hospital.
"I'm very sorry about the incident," he said through his agency,"I am currently discussing halting all of my broadcast activities as a way to reflect on my actions."
His agency added, "His injuries aren't severe but his arm is currently in a cast... He is currently reflecting on his actions and regretting them. We are sorry."
