Popular OST singer Hong Jong Myung has passed away. He was 46.
The artist, who passed away due to complications from a brain hemorrhage, sang the soundtrack themes for many famous television dramas in the 1990s, such as 1997's 'Beautiful Her' starring Lee Byung Hun and 1999's 'Happy Together' with Lee Byung Hun and Jun Ji Hyun.
One of his most famous tracks was "Loving Only Once", the main theme for 1998's 'Barefoot Romance' featuring Bae Yong Joon and Go So Young.
He also published several solo albums, the latest of which was released in 2009 and titled "Restart". Hong Jong Myung was also a professor at the Seoul University of the Arts for many years.
In accordance to his wishes, his organs will be donated to those in need. May he rest in peace.
