Although it is well-known that Cha Tae Hyun is one of the funniest actors in Korea, quite a few viewers were surprised when his parents were revealed to have a similar talent when they guested on the latest episode of KBS's 'Qualifications of Men'.

The episode marked the beginning of the program's long-term project, the 'Family Choir'. Auditions began with a collection of celebrity families and regular people trying to win a position in the choir.

His mother, Choi Soo Wan, and father, Cha Jae Wan, appeared on set to the surprise of the 'Qualifications of Men' cast members.�When asked by the cast members about Cha Tae Hyun himself, his mother reported, "He's busy. He told us not to come."

"We slipped out when he wasn't looking," the father added, causing laughter on the set.

The couple proceeded to audition, wowing the judges with their unforeseen music skills. Cha Tae Hyun's mother works as a voice actor, while the father retired a few years ago after working with KBS.
