Popular Korean entertainment company, JYP Entertainment, will be working with Mnet Media, a popular music cable station in Asia. This partnership is to further expand music created by JYPE artists such as the Wonder Girls, 2AM, 2PM, Park Jin Young (JYP), and miss A into the Asian music market.
The two will jointly work together on expanding Korean music throughout the entire continent of Asia. Mnet Media will be able to provide more opportunities for broadcasting in countries like China, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and other countries.
Mnet representative ??? / Park Kwang Won stated, "This partnership will give us the opportunity to form a business model to advance the wave to the Asian market and help Korea be an industry leader."
Future concerts overseas are now made possible thanks to this new found partnership. Mnet also plans to expand their broadcasting services into the United States later this year, so stay tuned!
