KARA wants you to vote!

If encouragement from SNSD wasn't enough, maybe some more feminine charm will do the trick! Fellow idol girl group KARA has also been appointed to be ambassadors for the 2010 elections! The Central Election Commission on the 10th announced that KARA will be the goodwill ambassadors for the nationwide local elections taking place on June 2nd. A representative of the Central Election Commission said, "The ambassadors for these elections couldn't just have been someone popular. We wanted someone with a clean image to become the ambassadors." The Central Election Commission hopes that KARA will help attract young voters to the polls to further boost voter turnout.
