Looks like former We Got Married star Shin Ae will be getting married for reals this year. Currently, she is dating an exchange student who is studying abroad in Seattle (USA) and they are making plans to get married possibly as early as May or June of this year.
Her management released a statement today announcing, "Shin Ae and her boyfriend's families know each other very well. The two people started dating seriously early this year." Sources say that he has helped her get through one of the toughest times of her life. This can also be seen on her Cyworld where she wrote "I'll smile now."
One person said, "The mothers have already met, however, they haven't officially done the formal bows. They are planning to do them soon and are currently looking at possible wedding halls." Like many other married celebs, Shin Ae has revealed that she isn't planning to retire after marriage so we will most likely be seeing more of her.
Alshin supporters from We Got Married will be dashed by this sudden announcement but congrats in any case. Shin Ae is currently filming for KBS2TV Empress Chun Chu and any marriage plans will have to wait. Alex was last seen in L.A. for the Victory Concert.
