HaHa is finally leaving for the army

On February 1, 2008, HaHa, an emcee for KBS 2TV's "Music Bank" said a tearful goodbye to his emcee partner Lee Hyun Ji, fellow staff members, singers, groups, and to his faithful fans. "I promised to become one with my performance," the rapper said. "I don't know if I succeeded in doing so, but I tried, so I feel as if I kept my promise." In his farewell speech, HaHa thanked everyone who helped make his career successful. He also thanked the people at "Music Bank" for giving him a "once in a lifetime opportunity" to be an emcee for the show. "I know I'm leaving for the army a little later then expected," the 29-year-old said. "But I will return soon." Singer and fellow emcee, Lee Hyun Ji, also issued a tearful message to the rapper: "I know it's only been a little while since I've debuted," the 21-year-old said. "But, I just wanted to thank you for giving me this big opportunity... while you're gone, I will do my best." HaHa is scheduled to leave for the army on February 11.
