Actress Hwang Jung Eum has filed for divorce from her husband once again.
On February 22, Hwang Jung Eum's label Y1 Entertainment confirmed earlier rumors of her divorce proceedings after 8 years of marriage. The label stated, "After a lot of deliberation, Hwang Jung Eum decided it's no longer possible to maintain her marriage and is in the process of filing for divorce."
Y1 Entertainment further stated the details for the divorce cannot be disclosed as they're private, and they asked media and netizens to refrain from creating rumors and provocative reports that will damage the reputation of the actress and her children.
Hwang Jung Eum married businessman and former professional golfer Lee Young Don in 2016, and they welcomed their first son in August of 2017. She then filed for divorce in September of 2020, but the couple reunited in July of 2021 after resolving their differences. They then welcomed their second son in 2022.
In other news, Hwang Jung Eum is currently filming for the second season of 'The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection'.
