'THE CAMP', a communication platform specifically dedicated to enlisted soldiers during their mandatory military service period, has its sights set on expansion and diversification.

Operated by Enable Daon Soft in partnership with the ROK Army, 'THE CAMP's most well-known feature is allowing family and loved ones to send electronic letters to new recruit soldiers. Once new recruits receive their official assignment and post, the app also informs family members of these details and shares news and updates on soldiers' schedules and activities.

Enable Daon Soft is now actively working towards obtaining investment to fuel growth, focusing on diversifying the available to services to involve the K-Pop community. Currently, K-Pop fans can access information about their idols' meals and view public photos released by the ROK Army using 'THE CAMP'. When BTS's Jin began his basic training, K-Pop fans flooded the app attempting to write letters to the idol. For the duration of his training period, Jin received an astonishing 320,000 letters from fans.

Next year, Enable Daon Soft is looking to launch additional communication features between enlisted K-Pop idols and their fans. Some services will be converted to paid services. Additionally, 'THE CAMP' plans to introduce merchandise embellished with the ROK Army branding or featuring the Intellectual Property (IP) of popular public figures, including enlisted K-Pop idols.

Idols are burdened enough, leave them alone whilst they perform their mandatory military service. Can't these guys get any peace. This is a really BAD idea.

the military has always been criticized for using idols who are enlisted in paid military events, obviously because they don't want to miss out on the fandom's money. now that the new minister put a stop to that, they're trying to start another thing? i truly hope that every fandom do not play into this bs and keep leaving messages for the idols through other platforms like their personal instagrams or company platforms like weverse.
