Following the update on the group's social media account, SM Entertainment's official Instagram account also posted the same picture and tagged the official Girl's Generation account on both its Instagram post and story.
At first, netizens thought the group dropped a teaser image for member Hyoyeon's upcoming comeback. But as the official SM Entertainment account only tagged the group unlike the previous solo comebacks of the members, netizens started to speculate Girls' Generation is preparing for its comeback as a full group.
