Former Cherry Bullet member Mirae to re-debut with PIXY in February

ALLART Entertainment and HappyTribe Entertainment are teaming up to debut s new 6-member girl group, PIXY

Last year, the group became active on social media as part of pre-debut promotions, but they are now preparing for their debut. Most notably, Cherry Bullet's former leader Mirae and former Girl's Alert member Saet Byeol are part of the lineup. Mirae, who left Cherry Bullet in 2020 for unknown reasons, will now go by the new stage name Ella.

PIXY is scheduled to debut on February 24 with the single "날개 (WINGS)".

I always suspected that the three former members of Cherry Bullet left due to financial strain and the lack of success. I feel that Mirae left because she saw no success with Cherry Bullet and now she's re-debuting to try her luck again. While Kokoro and Linlin left, I guess, they had an agreement with their parents that if they don't succeed by one year then they have to come back home and go back to school or something. It's my theory.

The fact that she's debuting again in another group means there was something sour going on behind the scenes. I was so sad when those 3 members left Cherry Bullet, Kokoro was my favorite, but I guess if you have no chance of success for whatever reason (FNC lacking money or resources for such a large group? poor management? something else?) then it's better not to waste your time. I mean Cherry Bully doesn't seem to be the most active or well-promoted group by any means, it's hard to get popular when your activities are sparse. Anyway, I hope they'll debut well.
