Actress Shin Min Ah made headlines for her consistent donations to charities.
According to reports, Shin Min Ah has been donating to good causes for the past 10 years, spending 2 billion Won ($1,787,869 USD) to support education and healthcare costs for disadvantaged children, heating costs for senior citizens living alone, support for North Korean refugees, and more. From 2015 onwards, the actress focused on helping burn patients as they're often neglected.
She's reportedly donated 100 million Won ($89,393 USD) to the Hallyum Burn Foundation for the past 5 years, helping 50 women and children with burn injuries. The funds have also gone to burn patients from overseas, such as Mongolia and Cambodia, to receive treatment in South Korea.
Shin Min Ah's label stated, "It's true Shin Min Ah has been making donations to support patients with burn injuries. We hope people will join Shin Min Ah and pay attention to these patients who continue to need help."
