On July 29 KST, Swing Entertainment dispersed an official statement asking certain fans of Wanna One to stop invading the artists' privacy. As of recent, fans of Wanna One have been making several complaints regarding the lax security for the artists, leading to the conclusion that the agency had not taken the necessary steps to block 'sasaeng' activity.
In the official statement, agency representatives wrote that the "psychological stress of [Wanna One] is rising", as "extreme fans continue to encroach on the resting areas of Wanna One" throughout the world tour. The representatives suggested that such actions have also caused harm to "regular citizens", stressing the severity of the issue.
Furthermore, the statement included pleas asking fans to stay away from hotels, airports, parking lots, roads, and other dangerous areas. Regarding any photos of unsuitable nature that may spread online, the company also denied in advance that such evidences would be "100% fake".�
