Singer and actor Lee Seung Gi has been confirmed as the host of 'Produce 48'.
On April 18, reports revealed Lee Seung Gi would be the main producer and MC of 'Produce 48' following Jang Geun Suk and BoA during the 'Produce 101' seasons, and his agency confirmed the news. Mnet producers are said to have sent multiple offers to the star as he's popular in both South Korea and Japan.
The first filming of 'Produce 48' took place without a host, but Lee Seung Gi will be joining for the filming on April 23. F.T. Island's Hongki, Soyu, and Cheetah have also been confirmed as mentors and vocal trainers.
