I clicked on the article so that I didn't have to watch a video...smh

This is bullshit!  We wouldn't be on this site if we could read/understand/speak Korean AKP.    If you're going to report on an interview, then freaking write down WHAT he said, or make sure the video has subtitles.  I mean, seriously!

AKP .. the video isn't subbed , so you didn't report any news

I have his new album and Dirty House is my fave.  Taehyun left to do the music he enjoys.  I wonder how many of us are as brave as Taehyun to be able to do that?  Do you currently like your job?  Could you literally leave your job and the stability it provided because you hated it and wanted to do something else?  Not many people are as brave as Taehyun.  I commend him for it.  Yes, it hurt the Winner members.  Yes it was not an easy decision but hey...everyone is doing well now.  I think I would have felt differently if Winner's last comeback didn't do well...but now that it did... I have found a sense of peace with Taehyun's decision.  It was the right decision for everyone.  I am so proud of everyone involved to be able to maturely handle this change like adults.  They are all true Winners and great role models.  Seungyoon is my bias and the more I learn about this situation...the more I love him.  This kid steps up sooooo hard in difficult situations.  He doesn't get enough credit for being amazing.

kudos also to YG himself for not being butthurt with his decision.

To be honest, I'm not really a fan of Winner, though I think some of their songs are fun to listen to. But even before Tae Hyun left Winner, I could see how talented he is by the solo songs he released when still part of said idol group. It's sad he decided to leave, but I'm also happy he now wants to pursue his own style of music, because Tae Hyun is incredibly talented and I love the music he now makes :)

People who argue that he shouldn't have left WINNER because his music now sucks are seriously stupid. It doesn't matter if you like his music idiots, HE likes his music. I also prefer WINNER's music but wouldn't that stop him from leaving. He didn't leave to make 'good' music, he left to make the music he wanted to make, even if his old fans don't like that type of stuff clearly there are people who do.

True, we should try to be respectful for the artists even if we do not like their career choices and music. One of former Beast band members, who is also a former member of Trouble Maker due that was dissolved in 2015, is also going to re-debut soon, and the style of music there is will be different from before, too. We should not be judgemental and let all the lads be. :)

I personnaly like his music x) it wouldn't fit if he was an idol

There will be some fans who hate him because he up and left one of their bias groups for that reason alone and that makes them angry. I hate him because hes ugly. I'm glad he left Winner though. I will never hate on anyone who is unhappy and decides to make a huge change for themselves in order to seek happiness. If his huge change was leaving Winner then so be it. We all deserve happiness.
