Jay Park has been making headlines after NBA posted photos of the fellow singer at the NBA Championship Game in Cleveland. Since then, the singer has been receiving racist remarks from the public.

After seeing all the harsh comments, many fans took to expressing their love for Jay Park on his Instagram saying, "Don't worry, it's not everyone's opinions" and "I will always love you as a fan."

An AOMG representative stated, "We talked to Jay Park about the issue and he was not fazed by the racial discrimination and has arrived to Korea safely without any hindrance to his schedules."

i had a feeling that he wouldn't care since he is american and has probably faced similar remarks before.

hyukki Thursday, June 15, 2017

Jay is pretty well-known in the States, I guess. He's got a good attitude!

rinfever Thursday, June 15, 2017

kings dont have time to waste w/ irrelevants

manongja Thursday, June 15, 2017

I don't understand why people are offended when someone says dog-eater. Dogs are delicious. And no...I am not Korean.

fcknren manongja Thursday, June 15, 2017

i also don't understand why eating dog is inherently barbaric. Like we eat chicken, pig, cow, some people eat frogs. so why is it so bad that some cultures do eat dog?

Kbloom fcknren Thursday, June 15, 2017

Maybe wild dogs, because you can basically fry any shit and it'll taste okay, but dog-eater is supposed to be an insult. Not a literal thing.

fcknren Kbloom Thursday, June 15, 2017

exactly, why is it considered an insult? that like using chicken eater as an insult

ioi_percent fcknren Thursday, June 15, 2017

It's because people associate Asians specifically, and how dogs are so close to humans. It's not a good thing to be called that. It's pretty much on the same spectrum of calling someone a oreo.

fcknren ioi_percent Thursday, June 15, 2017

but how is dog-eater an insult? eating dogs isn't a bad thing. As an asian i don't take offense to it because it doesn't apply to me. and if it did that wouldn't be an insult

ioi_percent fcknren Thursday, June 15, 2017

Well that's only you. One thing that offends you might not offend me. We are all different.

ValkryiaSkyfall fcknren Thursday, June 15, 2017 don't really keep chickens, cows, frogs, pigs as pets do you? If i had any of these animals as beloved pets, i wouldn't have eaten them too.

fcknren ValkryiaSkyfall Thursday, June 15, 2017

um yes i have in fact had multiple pet chickens. And i know people with pet cows and pigs. why is a dog somehow different?

ioi_percent fcknren Friday, June 16, 2017

But those aren't considered household pets, and it's basically cannibalism to people . And it's because it's meant as an insult. It stings when people say those racist things

OppaBean manongja Friday, June 16, 2017

Animals that are farm grown can be eaten. Cats and Dogs aren't farmed grown are they? That just basic common sense. Certain animals are meant to breed to produce foods. Not Cats and Dogs. Chicken gives us eggs. Like Cows give milk. Where do cats and dogs fit in in providing any food? I don't care if I offend anyone it's just wrong to eat them, and disgusting too. And no I never call an Asian that stupid remark.. Since I'm part of a minority group that always gets label as such and such. I don't use stupid racist labels. I am an avid cat and dog lover and I hate what happens to them in certain countries.

fcknren OppaBean Saturday, June 17, 2017

ok and? people can eat whatever they want. literally eating any animal is the same as eating a burger or steak. you're just raised differently so you assume it wrong. but to many cultures it isn't.

fcknren ioi_percent Saturday, June 17, 2017

eating an animal is not basically eating a person. We don't have the same culture so clearly we have different views. but why try and use something from someones culture as an insult? Thats like like calling a mexican person a taco eater and suddenly its offensive? like yeah you tacos thats not offensive. I don't take offense to someone saying "dog-eater" because I'm not offended. eating something is not offensive.

ioi_percent fcknren Saturday, June 17, 2017

Well if it degrades you into a common stereotype, then it is offensive, and I do not want to be called that.

kruton Thursday, June 15, 2017

Finally, a normal reaction from an idol. So happy this isn't one of those overreactions or else this article title would be "JAY PARK AGENCY TO TAKE LEGAL ACTION AGAINST MALICIOUS COMMENTORS.".....I'm happy Jay Park brushed this off so easily. It's sad for the FB commentors to behave in such a pathetic way, but in the end it shouldn't affect you so much.

jennifeeerle kruton Thursday, June 15, 2017

it should affect us so much because we're Asian. Why do you think the black community is so strong? they protect their people and culture. Most of us LIKE YOU (not trying to say anything mean) just ignores it and that's why it's so normal for it to not be a "big deal" when it should be.

kimhyunjoong334 kruton Thursday, June 15, 2017

i wouldve took legal action please~ im gonna be petty

kruton jennifeeerle Friday, June 16, 2017

I know what you mean, but at the same time, being angry and lashing back at the online commentors has never solved anything. If anything, it makes things worse. Black community is strong, but often you will see them say something like "white people smfh, obviously retards." Though the video they comment on usually shows white people being stupid, it doesn't help ANYTHING when people say stuff like that. It makes a lot of white people reply and say "Yeah cuz black people are savages and need to go back to the jungle to eat shit." Now, both races start hating each other even more, increasing the tension. If you don't believe me, go to any video on facebook about race, and you will be disgusted by the comment section. There really is no way to educate these kinds of people unless you see them face to face.

jennifeeerle kruton Friday, June 16, 2017

I understand what you're saying, but I'm just disappointed that the Asian Americans that has a VOICE is choosing not to raise it. Therefore, common people like many in the US just stay quiet. Quite shameful imo :/

danilove3709 Thursday, June 15, 2017

Of course he isnt fazed. He cant hear over all the money he is making.

partyfan2013 Thursday, June 15, 2017

I say that he really didn't do anything wrong at all and he doesn't deserve all of those nasty and vicious racist comments.  And therefore, all of those people really need to get themselves educated before opening their big fat mouths and spit out such crazy and dumb nonsense for no reason at all.

FragleDagle Thursday, June 15, 2017

I like his response. "Meh"

L_catzzz Thursday, June 15, 2017

For someone who made a racist remark himself, I don't think he could say anything about it.

KarmaButterfly01 L_catzzz Thursday, June 15, 2017

He was young, he apologized thousand times and he learned from his mistake

chiyasuho L_catzzz Thursday, June 15, 2017

I think this person was the one made comment for him huahahaha

L_catzzz Thursday, June 15, 2017

smokeee L_catzzz Thursday, June 15, 2017
