Trot singer Hong Jin Young's label Music K Entertainment will be debuting the label's first boy band.
The band's name is IZ, and consists of leader and vocal Jihoo, drummer Woosu, guitarist Hyunjun, and bassist Junyoung, and is a high-teen idol band average 18 years old.
The name IZ is short for 'Open Your Eyes(IZ)'. According to Music K Entertainment, the band has been preparing for their debut for the past 2 years, and have been holding performances at various schools to promote their name before debut.

On their official SNS, IZ posted their first debut photo below, as well as, "IZ August debut! Coming soon!"
