So Ji Sub is having difficulty getting permission to hold his fan meeting in China.

He's planning to have a fan meeting tour in Asia to commemorate his 20th anniversary since debut. However, China is currently the only country delaying permission for him to hold his fan meeting. Originally, he had been planning since January for a fan meeting in Guangzhou in April, but right now those plans are up in the air.

The agency planning his fan meeting said, "In China, events sometimes get delayed or canceled. However, this fan meeting was planned earlier on, so we didn't have any kind of problems before." The agency is guessing that this is another rebuttal against THAAD, and said, "The situation worsened, so the fan meeting may be canceled entirely."

It's just a really bad timing. I guess SK government can retaliate back, but then who knows what the next president will do.

i'm so sick of China trying to bully everyone.  thats all they do.  bully all the other azn countries claiming neutral islands.  bully Hong Kong.  bully Korea.  i really hope their economy crashes soon, and everyone starts going thru Taiwan imports instead.

if the chinese economy collapses, the world economy collapses. please understand how macroeconomics work before commenting stupid crap

smokeee lulzbrooks Monday, March 6, 2017

no it doesn't. there would be a world recession but Taiwan and South America could take over their manufacturing eventually, which would make them rich. the US collapsing would crush everyone tho.

lulzbrooks smokeee Monday, March 6, 2017

Lul... Yes it would. You can deny it however much you want but China has ingrained itself into the world's market. Sure they're not as significant as the US but they're pretty high up in the food chain.

Boycott cheap Chinese products

Ugh! The Chinese government is playing the Korean entertainment industry at the palm of their hands!! I've said it before, and I will say it again, Korea needs to look for other markets otherwise the talents will suffer!!!

Cutie888 kimmiefonze Monday, March 6, 2017

I agree

Winston Monday, March 6, 2017

I think China is going to ban ALL Korean celebs and shows, Trying to make S.Korea feel the impact on Hallyu revenue, and hope they reverse their decision, not only is the Entertainment industry impact, Lotte, who has allowed their land to be used for THAAD deployment is also getting the retaliation and has closed 4 stores in China already.
