Ravi has issued an apology for his MV.

He released the MV for "Bomb" a few hours ago, from his first ever solo mini-album. However, some viewers weren't very happy with some scenes in his MV. In the MV, Ravi sits on a couch surrounded by women clad only in their underwear, seemingly proud of having them around him. Many became angry at his objectification of women, because it seemed like he was treating them as trophies to have.

Ravi tweeted an apology, writing, "Hello, this is Ravi. I checked that there was controversy of objectifying and degrading women around a scene in the MV of my title song 'Bomb'. I reflect on my actions that I did not realize this could cause a disturbance. I apologize sincerely to those who were bothered. I will be more careful in the future, and work and think about how to make good music and songs. I'm sorry."

What do you think about the situation?

When you say "this and that done worse", I tell you that they are all not good. Well, I really don't like Zico or Jay Park MVs either. I disagree to pointing only on one artist or group, but you shouldn't say "it's nothing, every rapper do that". When people bashed BTS for some questionable stereotyping women lyrics in their debut days, I was agree that it's not good even if I'm a fan. But mostly there were two types of people: denying fangirls who bash feminist for fighting with objectification and sexism and antis who use this situation for their hate. Just hope you can be reasonable type. When you agree that it's bad it doesn't make you a traitor.

IARMYGIRL93 Hommie_In_black Wednesday, January 11, 2017

Im none of these types of people and saying 2 types its like saying life is only black or white there is no between. And here how can you justify that these girls accepted their roles, they could've rejected but they didnt because they are fine with it, it has nothing to do with objecting women when the women themselves didnt say a thing but if they were forced by the gun to take roles then you have all the right to bash the rappers, im not a fan of any so im not a delolu fan

in a world drowned out by all this and ppl agreeing with it u have the nerve to expect girls to see the good waiting for a girl group to become popular and have albums about being objectified and degraded and an awesome rapper to rap about how girls should be treated and that their beauty without ad their love parts (oh also i like how celebs can say stuff like that/stop objectifying people(Selena and other ppl i cant remember) but when someone else says the samething a war breaks out)

Funky_Angel Tuesday, January 10, 2017

This guy's really talented though. He writes and composes music on his own and his voice is super unique and charming. What a disappointing article~

SuJufan1990 Monday, January 9, 2017

Ohh geez Please Super Junior come back very very soon and save this pathetic excuse of a Kpop world, Big Bang gotta finish thier army time quick, TVXQ and JYJ please do also come back, SNSD too please save Kpop from going downhills,

Winston SuJufan1990 Monday, January 9, 2017

I am really excited for 2017, because a lot of the "older" generation of kpop are making comebacks like Lee Hyori, Rain, Super Junior, SNSD, DBSK, all those who rocked kpop in early and mid 2000s. as opposed to the mostly post 2010 era idol groups. its like the "Return of the 2000s", i wish BoA would also join in the comeback this year.

hiroonakamura Monday, January 9, 2017

this is what happens when people go full full on wigga mode and think they're "gangzta" ..... Dude, you're Korean. Act like a Korean, not like you were brought up in the hoods in downtown Detroit

badseed hiroonakamura Monday, January 9, 2017

OMG im really afraid to know your stereotype about the korean people, if u think everyone is like cute korean idols or like peoples from kdramas, pls dont come to Korea u will be disapointed.

hiroonakamura badseed Tuesday, January 10, 2017

everyone obviously isnt.- still though, this guy clearly isnt from the hoods

prady Monday, January 9, 2017

but....isnt that basically how all the female groups work these days anyways...?

SuJufan1990 Monday, January 9, 2017

I bet its nothing wrong for women to degree themselfs and that has no selfrespect for men to oogle, check out and mastrubate to! You dont care how women feels and thier rights! I bet you even support rape too becauce its sexy! in your eyes, its like you think womens bodys belong you males, you call women who doesnt want to have sex with you different rude and ugly names when you get rejection, this is the same reaction it feels like, becauce women defend thier rights and bodys then you get angry becauce women defend themselfs

VenusMiranda SuJufan1990 Monday, January 9, 2017

You're really crazy.

SuJufan1990 Monday, January 9, 2017

I feel like the whole kpop industry are objetifying women, Kpop has becomed so focused on making thier MVs and songs so  sexualised, Kpop has becomed so focused on women getting half nude and Male idols isnt different from female idols doing body rolls,Kpop nowadays arent focused on musical talents, I know that Sex sells some sexyness is alright but not so much that it becomes erotic instead of Sexy, Kpop idols nowadays are almost Erotic in this video,I am sad and disapointed that musical talent doesnt seem to matter anymore just that you need to have a sexy body and sexy concept to sell your album and not musical talent and dance abilitythere is other concepts than Sexy and Cute concepts, there are other creative concepts besides sexy and cute,

BitHun SuJufan1990 Monday, January 9, 2017

Mot to mention erotic moves that categorized as sexy..

SuJufan1990 BitHun Monday, January 9, 2017

Erotic and Normal Sexy is 2 different things! what happen to Music talent!? but sure if this what these women want to be known for, for thier tits and butts then so be it, You wont get a singing career if you do Erotic videos, Porn videos

Winston SuJufan1990 Monday, January 9, 2017

I miss the age of kpop, when singers like Lee Hyori are showing the world "strong women" is like, and Super Junior telling us to be a Mr Simple, and Superman. SNSD cheering us up with "Oh" and telling bad guys off with "Run Devil Run", these artists need no revealing clothes or sexy dance moves to lead the kpop world. its time for kpop to go back to retro a bit.

BitHun SuJufan1990 Monday, January 9, 2017

Why are you dislike mu comment LOL, as if I'm agree with that erotic thing. What I'm trying to saiy IS nowdays there are KPOP girlband that having some "kind" of dance and said that it is sexy concept, but what ppl see is more trying to be sexy but overact and end up with looks like doing some cheap erotic moves.

SuJufan1990 Winston Tuesday, January 10, 2017

I miss the old kpop era too when the idols knew what the Singer profession was all about, its music talent and dancing, I miss songs and mvs that SNSD puts out, they are sexy and elegant without getting down to skimpy clothes and grinding, more business should watch ansvarig learn how SM make professional and successful idols without having to hump the ground and call that dancing, I miss strong singers in general the legends that is, I really dont care about sexy bodies, I just want great and addictive songs

Winston SuJufan1990 Tuesday, January 10, 2017

I know what you mean, but i dun blame or hate those girl groups who have to do all that to survive, sometimes they also want to succeed but its between disband/going broke or doing a sexy concept and selling more than previous comeback to survive just another year. some group chose the latter. i think overall the kpop industry in 2014-2016 has slowed down the speed of idol groups debut, as compared to 2010-2012 when its like crazy so many groups debutting every month. i think soon we will see a lot of those 2010-2011 groups start to disappear or disband due to insufficient sales to stay alive in this business.

iislana Monday, January 9, 2017

Poor Ravi....nobody has anything to say about Jay park, but they have a ton to say about nothing. Y'all realize he is also in his underwear, right?

MsArchetype iislana Monday, January 9, 2017

bruh i was thinking the same thing. I love Jay Park sooo much, but he's had women doin the same shit in his some of his videos

pink_oracle Monday, January 9, 2017

"I'm sorry, I never thought people would be offended by my bitches and hoes".

SuJufan1990 pink_oracle Monday, January 9, 2017

its not okey to objetify women, women are humans and people with feelings and thoughts too, women arent mens belongings

VenusMiranda SuJufan1990 Monday, January 9, 2017

When they're BEING PAID to be a in an MV and AGREE TO WORK IT THE WAY IT IS they belong to the ones who paid them, and to whom they agreed to work with.

pink_oracle VenusMiranda Monday, January 9, 2017

Uh, no. They still belong to themselves and can refuse to do anything they feel is unreasonable to ask of them. No one ever belongs to anyone no matter how much money they're throwing around.

Ryen pink_oracle Monday, January 9, 2017

Knetz gets offended by EVERYTHING. Funnily enough, you don't see them getting offended by female singers surrounded by naked men. Talk about a bunch of sexist hypocrites.

VenusMiranda pink_oracle Monday, January 9, 2017

THEY ACCEPTED THE JOB, THEY KNEW THEY WARE ABOUT TO BE ALMOUST NAKED AROUND MEN! They are problebly spending their work money in a lot of cool stuff and watching the video saying "OH HOW SEXY I'M" while you are here deffending women who don't want to be deffended.

pink_oracle VenusMiranda Tuesday, January 10, 2017

Have you got me and SuJufan1990 confused as the same person? My only point is that you never own a person and you can't demand people do anything just because you'll pay them. As for these ladies getting half naked for a music video, that's their image and they can sell it how they like.
