ASTRO say they didn't expect to debut with a cute concept + want to try Big Bang style music

ASTRO shared their honest thoughts on their concept and image.�

In an interview with Xports News, Moonbin�revealed, "Before our debut, I never expected us to debut like this. During our trainee days, we did a lot of covers of Big Bang�and BTS. We barely practiced soft and cute concepts so when our label told us that we were going to debut with this type of song, we were really surprised. It had a completely different vibe. I remember struggling with making facial expressions."

Rocky�added, "But I think we melted well in with the music because we're young. You can't just do this concept with loads of practice. It felt like this was really 'ours'. There were times when I looked forward to debuting with a fierce concept but I think we fit right in [with the cute concept] as far as time is concerned."

As for the style of music ASTRO want to try in the future, Jinjin�answered, "A song where we're having fun by ourselves. A performance that doesn't have a set choreography but one where we freely communicate and relate to one another. I want to try a song like Big Bang's 'We Like to Party'."
