The label announced back in November of 2016 that it intended to take strong legal actions against any who defamed the names of their artists. A representative of Loen stated, "After closely monitoring and collecting evidence regarding malicious rumors, slandering, and other posts/comments aimed at defaming our artist, we were able to file official charges against several individuals, and a disposition in the form of a fine has been determined for 11 suspects total."

While Loen had intentions of revealing the content malicious posts and comments aimed toward IU, the label made the decision to withhold the information, based on the explanation that the content was full of "terms too difficult to put into words" and that the content may inflict further damage on not only IU, but also her family and fans.

Loen Entertainment also relayed intentions to continue pressing charges against individuals who attempt to defame their artists.
