Asked about the specific comments she received, Jeon So Mi said, "He complained that I was bad at aegyo, that I need to add more emotions into the song...I am very nervous about singing this new song." parkkkkwp Hyungshi Tuesday, October 18, 2016

KrystaL_JunG_24 Tuesday, October 18, 2016

JYP needs to get DANI out of MBK and join somi with new girl group. ^_^

SilverJung KrystaL_JunG_24 Tuesday, October 18, 2016

AGREE!!! Dani have been locked in MBK dungeon like forever, :(( she was almost debuted as 9th member of t-ara though

JYGstan KrystaL_JunG_24 Sunday, October 23, 2016

I also hope so but it will be Dani's decision.

Somi is made to be a center of a girl group. She has the face, the energy and her voice is so specific, everyone can recognize her. But it's going to be tough for the other girls in her group.

parkkkkwp kacichan Tuesday, October 18, 2016

i hope not so tough, some people might already know the other trainees that maybe will debut with Somi since they also appeared in Sixteen, Kpop Star etc

ilikeJB Tuesday, October 18, 2016

Like other JYPE artists, they will broadcast her through Variety, CF's and maybe dramas. Regardless of what Park Jinyoung said about banning his trainees from predebut broadcast, a lot of his artists actually did just that.

Somi needs to debut in the new girlgroup

SalimatouBalde Monday, October 17, 2016

Well, I don't why JYP is complaining about her when some his groups need to work on their skills, he should be criticizing them the most, so they can improve a lot.

Atbash SalimatouBalde Tuesday, October 18, 2016

Show respect to "The Boss of all Bosses".

ilikeJB SalimatouBalde Tuesday, October 18, 2016

He complains about everyone though.

SalimatouBalde ilikeJB Tuesday, October 18, 2016

But not twice, and he should be complaining about their members vocal skills. The only good vocalist in JIhyo

ilikeJB SalimatouBalde Tuesday, October 18, 2016

Have you seen Sixteen??? He basically complains till the end of that show. How do you know he is not complaining on their skills as of right now because even if they work with other producers, Park Jinyoung watches and actually calls his artists to give his input.

SalimatouBalde ilikeJB Wednesday, October 19, 2016

LOL JYP has bad management and training skills.that is why his new groups lack talent. AKA TWICE.

ilikeJB SalimatouBalde Thursday, October 20, 2016

Lack of talent and yet they are up there with their success and you're just... here.

Somi is overrated imo, i think Sejung is way better at everything and Sejung has the most outgoing personality i've seen since young lizzy.  Somi got a huge fan following from Twice tryout show which carried over to 101.  she also has fans because she's mixed.  that said she should've made Twice initially over a few other girls like Chaeyeon for example.  JYP probably regrets it a little but if Twice werent successful he'd probably regret it a lot.

That's kpop for ya.. All the pretty girls are overrated. Some people don't mind & some people just get bugged out really bad. For me, I like girls/groups that are known for being good at something (actually talented) but at the same time, i love watching pretty girls too. I don't mind that somi is overrated cuz i actually love her singing voice (even tho it's not the best compared to other singers/idols) & also her personality. I guess it's all about our own personal thoughts & views..

smokeee IGOTBUDDIES Monday, October 17, 2016

she is overrated tho and it has more to do with her being mixed, and having already gained popularity from the Twice variety show. she had instant fans for being half white and not full asian. Lots of kpop fans are race bias. look at so many of the EXO fans who are obviously bias for the chinese EXO's. just like when there is a black mixed girl in a group, lots of people on this site bias them without even knowing a thing about them. its the same with Somi for being mixed. since full korean is the norm in kpop, there are a lot of racial bias for those who arent.

smokeee IGOTBUDDIES Monday, October 17, 2016

and i think pretty is one of the most important qualities for being a idol and being successful.

Nutelladela smokeee Tuesday, October 18, 2016

hmm, I have to say I disagree! A lot of her stages on Produce 101 were very strong and she had amazing charisma and energy, especially considering that she was 14 at the time and was already able to pull off having a strong stage presence. Her vocals are solid, and the fact that she's mixed usually plays against idols since k netz seem to prefer pure Koreans over any other ethnicity. It's true that she's very attractive, but that's also a part of what makes someone an idol. I think she hasn't been standing out lately because she doesn't feel comfortable in the IOI cutesy concept, she seems to do best in more fierce performances with strong dances. That's just my opinion tho!

smokeee Nutelladela Tuesday, October 18, 2016

oh please EVERY debuting non korean in kpop gets WAY more attention, especially here, than pure koreans.

parkkkkwp smokeee Tuesday, October 18, 2016

imo Chaeyeon is more overrated, she's everywhere. Somi doesnt come out on articles etc as often as her. yes the non Korean/mixed blood usually gets more attention but you can take that as for overseas fans but I dont think so if it's for knetz, dont forget how much hate she gets at school for not looking like Korean/asian so i think it's the matter of her personality, for me she doesnt try hard to attract people it's just her being her, I also like her voice. If it's true that she got more attention because of Sixteen then it's her advantage, she dont even expect that. JYP dont even regret for losing a bunch of idols who used to be his trainee but now already hit big why would he regret for not putting Somi on Twice?

Nutelladela smokeee Tuesday, October 18, 2016

yes, internationally speaking. But now many non Koreans/mixed Koreans do we know that are actually famous in Korea/made it big in their career long term? I still remember reading an article about Tzuyu where one of the top comment from a knet was "if she was of Korean ethnicity her popularity would be unreal." The only reason non Koreans are popular to international fans is because we don't see a lot of non Koreans making it in Kpop. That's not the case for Korea where it counts though.

IGOTBUDDIES smokeee Wednesday, October 19, 2016

gotta agree with Nutelladela & parkkkwp. Their stating the truth tho

voidending Monday, October 17, 2016

stop talking abt adding her to twice wtf. twice is a group formed from a survival show, and they've already had two albums. nobody's going to get added to twice. maybe a solo debut is coming??
