On July 8, Seventeen performed for the viewers and the live audience of 'Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook', showing off their bright, boyish charms!

After the recording for the recently aired episode, however, problems arose among fans and netizens as several witnesses claimed that those who attended the recording of 'Sketchbook' experienced disruptions and rude behavior, courtesy of Seventeen fans, or Carat.

One online post claimed, "Because of the bomb-like cameras [in the audience], the recording was disrupted twice, and normal people in the audience got tired and started cursing..."

Reportedly, the mild to unresponsive reactions of the audience members during some of Seventeen's performances aired on 'Sketchbook' were due to the continued disruptions caused by Seventeen fan. Some netizens even said they spotted video footage of Seventeen's leader S.Coups begging fans before the recording to "please don't take photos".

What are your thoughts on the recent controversy?

Awww Dx Those fans ruined the boys' 1st Sketchbook appearance.

Scoups and Seungkwan told them to stop but they didn't. Those trash don't even care about Seventeen's feeling, to the point the members ended up being the ones getting scolded.

Hun_Han Saturday, July 9, 2016

as a Carat, this incident was really upsetting and infuriating and in the end Seventeen got scolded and punished and what was something they were looking forward to turned out bad for them. I hope our fandom can be more respectful and I know all fandoms have some immature or rude fans, but I hope it stays minimum in our fandom and they learn from their mistakes.

please behave well, don't embarrass yourself and your fandom, I understand that you were excited but try to control yourself.

It is really a shame, Sketchbook is a show were artists are able to show their real talent and it is an honor to be invited. Seventeen is such a talented group, they really deserved it, but it turned out like this. Carats should apologize, what they did was very disrespectful and they didn't even respect SCoups, that is just wrong. I really hope that they wont be too affected by it and that they get invited again and show a better image.

The real question is: Are they really Carats? Because if they are, they won't destroy their favourite idols' image by misbehaving.

CalB90 CandyToo Saturday, July 9, 2016

Of course they are. They need membership cards to enter those places in support of their group and the membership isn't exactly cheap...

Seventeen fandom has always been shit, but this is a new low. TV stations should ban major boy groups from these shows for a while till fangirls have reflected enough about their behaviour.

CandyToo cpttsubasa Saturday, July 9, 2016

yeah, no one's gonna listen to u so

Potaetae CandyToo Saturday, July 9, 2016

Yet you bothered to read the comment and reply. 😂 Sorry I had to point out the irony 😂😂

Laylaxoxo7 Potaetae Saturday, July 9, 2016

no, she meant no one would listen to them because even if they see and read this comment, who would say "ok no more major boy groups so y'all fangirls can get your feels in check" no one

cpttsubasa CandyToo Sunday, July 10, 2016

Its a safe bet to say fangirls will stay retarded and will show even worse behaviour in the future. I am positive the day will come when they will listen.
