CJ E&M has officially commented on SG Wannabe Kim Yong Joon's recent physical assault controversy.

On July 1, Kim Yong Joon's agency stated, "They were drinking when the other party threatened him, and he acted in self-defense. We're working towards a harmonious settlement. In the case that there's continued one-sided accusations, we'll respond strongly."
As previously reported, Kim Yong Joon went out for a drink on May 8, then got into a fight with other customers. Customer A (31) got in an argument with another customer B, and during their brawl, customer A fell on Kim Yong Joon's lap, which caused Kim Yong Joon's cell phone and wallet to fall on the floor. The singer responded in annoyance, and the customers proceeded to lash out.
