On May 6, ARMY noticed that a group of anti-fans have planned a Twitter attack against the boys of BTS

The following 1st image shows a screencap of a supposed notice put out by BTS's anti-fans, detailing the dates and times of the planned Twitter attacks. The anti-fans seem to be aiming for after BTS's 'HwaYangYeonHwa On Stage EPILOGUE' concert, taking place at Seoul's Olympic Park Gymnastics Arena.

The notice read,

"Please RT continuously.
[#CopyBoys and related hashtags, trending attack]
Time: 2016.05.07 ~7PM KST when BTS's Concert ends, 2016.05.08 ~7PM KST when the concert ends.
This weekend, BTS's concert takes place from 4PM KST for about 150 mins, so please begin about 30 mins after the concert ends.
Let's show them all of the fandoms' combined forces, let's show those cancerous girls (The Korean word for cancer phonetically sounds similar to the beginning of ARMY) our combined forces.
Just upload any hashtags and words related to Bangtan's copying/plagiarizing controversies.
After their concert ends, they will definitely go online to tell their boys good job, so let's show them."

In response, ARMY have also sent out a notice:

"Other fandoms are attacking us with trending hashtags claiming copying/plagiarism again.
We can't let BTS see those attacks.
We will tweet #GreatJobBangtan after their concert ends.
Time: After 7:30PM KST (May 7, May 8)"

Previously, various fandoms have stepped up to claim that BTS copied or plagiarized things from other groups.

What do you make of the recent controversies? Are anti-fans taking things too far?

You trolling ARMY just seems to be the epitome of hypocritical. I mean one of the few things that is more disgusting than HARMY would be... well. You.

"THE MORE YOU HATE, THE MORE YOU LOVE."Just saw this, and I think they are being over-reacted to this issue... BTS have their own style... Copying issue, I think isn't a issue because they have their own platform, you might say that they copy it from the other group, that's not it. Have you consider the probability of sameness or being alike to which they are not alike. Still, there will a difference on it. Plagiarism issue, BTS is known to be a strong group because of their name, if you consider to know what BTS stands for and what is really meant, you'll understand and appreciate it... BTS lyrics are also strong, even a simple one line/verse is strong and very directive or straight-forward. With this, this isn't an issue because they speak/sing well from their own feelings... You may also consider that there a lot of songs from various artist whose songs/lyrics are more directive/straight-forward but they did not gave an issue about it. But is it manly enough from them to apologize publicly (which more fans coming appreciating them). I'm proud of them. Those anti-fans, i guess i have to be thankful to you because you were promoting BTS and made everyone curious about them, and then they will look for BTS because of intrigued curiousity, then they realized that BTS were promising and admirable group, then they'll join BTS fandom... The more you hate BTS, the more you'll be loving BTS (you just don't admit it.):-)#justmyopiniononly

The fact there are even people who are so against groups in general that they actually have the name "anti-fan". Really? They actually take THAT MUCH time out of their lives just to hate on other people...seriously? There's something wrong with you. I know I don't have that much time to give to a hateful thought to let it brew inside of me to the point that I'm going to get on social media and run someone else in the ground. Find something or someone you like and go be happy instead of spreading hate and discontent.

This is seriously disrespectful. I'm not an ARMY myself (I don't align myself with any particular fandom, I just listen to whatever catches my interest), but this is too far. Why go out of your way to send hate to someone you don't even know? Don't like a group? Don't listen. It's a simple solution really.

the twitter attack thing is so petty

kyubachu Monday, May 9, 2016

I really wasn't going to say anything, but I have to now. From my time of being a k-pop fan, which has been for a short time now, roughly 3 years, this is the most effort I have seen from anti-fans. I am actually kind of impressed. If only they put that much effort into promoting the groups they support, then maybe they wouldn't be so bitter. I am glad that, from what I personally saw, a lot of ARMYs decided to calmly just tweet the hashtag supporting the boys. Any hashtag that is negative to any group or any artist is so saddening. And then people respond with more hate and that just adds fuel to the fire. It is unbelievably immature, and there are young adults doing this, not just preteens and teens. We have to be better than this. We can take some notes from Yoongi, who has been struggling with people who did not support him for years. And it's from the recent MV: "I'll forgive you." Okay, that did sound a bit tongue in cheek, but I'm being serious, that is the message. The best way to respond to hate is to not let them have the reaction they want. Haters and anti-fans live for the frustrated and emotional reactions, and they'll keep doing it to somehow feel empowered and important. As the receiver, we have to null that. And by "we" I mean anyone receiving hate, I'm not just talking about ARMYs here.

Why is the hate so strong against BTS? Is this just a thing with every popular group because I don't remember seeing a joint twitter force against EXO (they were the last really popular group I can think of)?

AReMY elfinkyy Tuesday, May 10, 2016

I have no idea. there are like, plagiarism claims left and right. Like wow. Yeh, i have never seen a synchronised attack from fandoms before.

btsfinite Sunday, May 8, 2016

Why take out hate on the group when the group did nothing wrong? Some of the fans are the ones who are causing trouble and not all fans are bad, okay? I understand why you don't like us but taking it out on BTS is taking it way too far
