'Netmarble's '100 Shots 100 Hit' has been targeted for over-sexualizing Jeon So Mi's game character.

Currently, IOI are the models of the mobile game, which means various CFs, ads, and events. Out of all of IOI's ongoing promotions, a special gift event where players can receive an exclusive Jeon So Mi character has come under criticism.

The reason is due to the game's over-sexualization of the female character. Jeon So Mi, who is currently only 16 years-old (Korean age), is depicted with large breasts in a tight outfit, holding a gun. The character contradicts Jeon So Mi's image in reality as there are no signs of a teenager, but only a mature, sexy woman.

Many viewers are disturbed by the oversexulized character and commented, "She's only in middle school... Please protect her", "What did you do to her...", "It doesn't look like her but still. She's so young", etc.

Do you also think Jeon So Mi's game character is over-sexualized?

Protect this girl! Somi is going to get targeted by nasty people a lot and her company need to do everything they can to protect the kid!

It's true, it doesn't look like her and she is too young

Raping females in Korea is considered a minor crime... rapist subhumans are usually given disgracefully light sentences... and this is what they fucking worry about? How about punishing rapists and child molesters as if these were horrific crimes? That would be a good fucking start.

Yeah, but the real question I am asking here is: Why did they break her spine in the game version ? I am sorry but it just looks LOL and yeah, not like So Mi at all ?

Itismoot chillycho Saturday, May 14, 2016

Lmao, true on the spine, sexual is not the word here i think cheap 3d model would be more fitting.

That is not okay at all. I've seen worse in various video games, but this is like a game version of Somi, so NO

Lynnbia Saturday, May 14, 2016

I've seen worse in video games

YueYuu Lynnbia Saturday, May 14, 2016

Is that the point though? Most of the time sexualized video game characters are either not based on an actual person or based on someone who's at least legal? :o

Lynnbia YueYuu Saturday, May 14, 2016

Most people don't know it's about a real person nor that she's a minor but yes it's still wrong

All these issues would not be as serious if they had used another IOI member who is above 20, like say Nayoung who is 22 years old. I suppose they picked Somi because she is the most popular of the group, but failing to note the fact she is under aged.

chimcham Saturday, May 14, 2016

Wow, that does not look like Somi at all.

navi_x_loki Saturday, May 14, 2016

I would protect her, thats not okay...
