During the showcase for 'Act.7' on February 1, 4minute talked about the fact that there wasn't much time left in their contract with Cube Entertainment.
Gayoon stated, "Honestly, because the members were preparing for the album, we didn't get to talk a lot about the contract . . . We had a lot of concerns while preparing this album. One great concern was about whether we should go forth more strongly or change things up music-wise. We never talked well and in detail about the contract."
Leader Jihyun added, "I believe that this album will be a big influential factor of a contract renewal. Wouldn't we be more for it if this album does well? We stated this a lot with the people at the company, too."
