South Korea dominating in World Cup qualification

South Korea is on a winning streak and one step closer to being a contender for the 2018 FIFA World Cup


For their Tuesday game with Laos, the South Korean team beat their opposition 5-0, marking their sixth straight win for the regional World Cup qualification round. The team has continued to dominate group G with a 6-0-0 record in the second round of the Asian qualification. After 6 games, South Korea has a +/- differential of +23 goals with 23 goals scored and no goals given up!

Currently, there are eight groups of five nations each in the qualification stage. South Korea will face off with Lebanon for their next qualifier on March 24, 2016.
