According to officials in the music industry, Psy is said to make his anticipated comeback after Big Bang's 'MADE' album series is finished, but before iKON's debut (September 15).
Just as Psy had said he plans on focusing his efforts in Korea for this comeback, he's hopes are not to make his comeback as a 'world star', but simply as a passionate and energetic artist returning to his original unique style.
We'll have to see if YG Entertainment is indeed able to churn out three artist comebacks in a span of 2 months, but until further notice, it seems this fall is off to a fantastic start.

[Update] - YG Entertainment has confirmed they are indeed hoping to have Psy come back in September. The agency commented, "It's true that Psy is preparing for a comeback with a goal of September in mind. He's almost done with his new song, and we'll announce specific details when comeback plans are finalized."
