Brown Eyed Girls' Ga In will be MC'ing an award ceremony for the very first time at the '2nd Gaon Chart K-Pop Awards'.
On January 22nd, it was announced that she was chosen to be the female MC for the ceremony. Even though she has been active as a solo singer and on variety shows, this will be her first time MCing for an award ceremony since her debut 7 years ago.
Because she is so popular at whatever she does, many fans are looking forward to see her as an MC at the awards. She will be partnering up with MC Joo Young Hoon, who is active as a composer, producer, and DJ. He MC'ed last years Gaon Awards with Taeyeon, and will help lead the show again this year.
The 'Gaon Chart K-Pop Awards' will take into account music sales from January to December 2012, and will be awarding 16 teams. The awards include the rookie award, the composer-writer award, producer award, choreographer award, stylist award, the indie-music aimed 'This Year's Discovery' award, and more.
The Gaon Awards will take place at the Olympic Hall on February 13 at 7PM.
