2PM's Nichkhun reveals how he was recruited into JYPE

2PM's Nichkhun revealed how he got cast as a JYPE trainee.

On the July 11th broadcast of MBC's 'Radio Star - My Second Hometown' special, Nichkhun was asked what brought him to Korea.

To this, Nichkhun explained, "I first came to Korea in 2006. While attending school in Los Angeles, I met a cast manager when I was at a concert. At that time, I wasn't planning on accepting the offer because I didn't have confidence in dancing nor singing. However, that cast manager constantly persuaded me in joining, which has led me to where I'm at today."

"At that same time, I was also given a cast offer from CJ Entertainment," he said. MC Yoon Jong Shin then praised the JYPE cast manager by commenting, "We should give that JYPE cast manager an award."
