Tei reveals his report card on SBS's 'Dalgona'

Singer Tei revealed his report cards recently, which traced his dramatic decision to become a singer. Tei and his parents appeared �on the July 15th episode of�SBS's 'Dalgona'. The singer impressed the audience when it was revealed that "Tei was very good in academics until high school". His report cards for each year, carefully recorded by his family, showed his strong academic grades. However, beginning in high school, his grades dropped until his standing in class was last place. Tei's father explained, "We found out he went to sing instead of going to hagwon [cram school]." He continued, "Since my son was a big disappointment [to me at the time], I cried while I was scolding him. I told him that academics were first and singing should just be a hobby". Tei later reflected, "Belatedly, I realized that while I was doing what I wanted to do, my parents were having a really difficult time.
