Diverting from his notorious reputation as an abusive wit, Kim Gura reached out to the roaming Shin Jung Hwan with words that seemed to stem from their collective years of work, brotherhood, and regret.
On the 23rd, Kim Gura gave the following message through a broadcast of "Radio Star", expressing a sympathy that the Korean press has lacked this couple of months:
"I would like to say a word to my friend.
My little brother and friend Shin Jung Hwan, it isn't over till it is over. Step up to your faults and bring closure to your actions. You are still in your mid-thirties, show honesty and the desire for remedy. You are talented, dont be misguided by your shame and guilt."
The three remaining MCs (Kim Gura, Kim Kook Jin, and Yoon Jon Shin) filled the vacuum of Shin Jung Hwan's absence with the holiday cheer of Chuseok and had an excellent guest line-up through the Super Junior boys.
