DJ Shine of Drunken Tiger fame (probably the greatest hip hop group in Korea), who inexplicably disappeared from the music scene 4 years ago is planning to make a comeback. On May 14th, DJ Shine will be releasing a single album titled "Right Round," supposedly under the Warner Music Korea Label (joint venture between Warner Music Group and SK Telecom). "Right Round," will be a cover of Flo-Rida's "Right Round." DJ Shine has talent and doesn't need to do covers but Wheesung's cover of Craig David's "Insomnia" was deemed to be a success, so Warner Music Korea is trying to duplicate that success with a similar formula. It's a shame that DJ Shine and Tiger JK aren't together anymore, one was from the East Coast (NYC) and the other from the West (Los Angeles), yet they got together to make great music. Tiger JK went on to make great music, but DJ Shine was MIA for these past 4 years. Does anyone have the details on the split?
