On January 18, HyunA posted a photo with one emoticon "👩❤️👨" revealing that she was in a relationship and tagged Yong Junhyung. On the same day, Junhyung also posted the same photo on his Instagram. In the photo, the two were seen holding hands and walking down a beach.
Earlier, both HyunA and Yong Junhyung were spotted attending the '2016 F/W Hera Seoul Fashion Week' held at Dongdaemun Design Plaza in Jung-gu, Seoul, watching the runway together. Even at that time, they showed a close relationship.
The two continued to work on the track "A Bitter Day" from HyunA's solo album 'Bubble Pop.'
Both artists were under Cube Entertainment when HyunA was a member of 4minute and Junhyung was a member of BEAST/B2ST (now Highlight).
