Kang Dong Won turns down role for 'Burning' film

It appears actor Kang Dong Won will not be appearing in director Lee Chang Dong's upcoming film 'Burning', despite having looked over the script. 


According to reports on July 7, Kang Dong Won has rejected the offer to star in 'Burning'. The film revolves around the story of a wealthy man and a delivery man who try to win the heart of a woman, and is based on Japanese author Haruki Murakami's novel 'Norwegian Wood'.

Originally, actors Kang Dong Won and Yoo Ah In were cast for the leading roles, stirring up commotion. However, Kang Dong Won has made the final decision to turn down the role.
