Kriesha Chu says her role model is Hyorin and hopes to perform with her on stage someday

SBS 'K-Pop Star 6' contestant Kriesha Chu recently sat down with 'Bnt International' for an interview.

The singer struck poses wearing stylish check-patterned one-pieces as well as lightening up the mood in dressy outfits. When asked if she felt burdened making a solo debut as opposed to working in a group, Kriesha responded, "I did feel a bit overwhelmed when I debuted as many people had high expectations. It was also difficult to please the masses standing alone on stage, but I think there are positive aspects of performing solo as well."

In regards to her powerful energy despite having a small physique, she commented she is able to concentrate on making emotional gestures while singing and dancing. Receiving support from Highlight's Junhyung for her first album, Kriesha said, "I've always liked Highlight's music since I was in America. I was so happy when Junhyung produced my album. It was such an honor."

When asked who she would like to collaborate with, Kriesha answered, "SISTAR's Hyorin is my role model. I'll feel so anxious if I stood next to her on stage. I think I have a lot to learn from her. It was all thanks to Hyorin sunbaenim that I got into K-pop."
