Netizens think this Chinese show is plagiarizing 'Show Me the Money'

Kris
iQiyi's upcoming variety program'The Rap of China' is getting a lot of rap from netizens for possibly plagiarizingMnet's 'Show Me the Money.'

One netizen criticized the show via an online community board for its similarities in terms of how the overall show is run not to mention the brand identity.

Let's take a closer look, shall we? First at the obvious logo. The words 'The Rap of China' is stylized in a similar matter with a hint of gold in the words and background. Then how about Korea's 'Show Me the Money?' It is the same. One can see that the background is decorated in gold.

Meanwhile, 'The Rap of China' is scheduled to air on June 24, making it the first hip-hop reality show in China, heightening the anticipation of viewers. The show will feature four producers, such as former EXO member Kris, Taiwanese rapper MC HotDog, Taiwanese rock musician Chang Chen Yue and singer Wilber Pan, who will ultimately select and train rappers.
