Topping first and second place were actors Park Bo Gum and Song Joong Ki respectively.  Actor Park Bo Gum rose to fame in KBS' 'Love in the Moonlight,' while Song Joong Ki gave a charismatic performance in 'Descendents of the Sun.'

Meanwhile, idol group EXO went down to 4th place after placing 1st on the Forbes list in back to back years for 2015 and 2016.  Girl group TWICE came in 3rd place with BTS charging in at 5th place and singer Suzy trailing after in 6th.

Top celebrities who were on the Forbes list for many years in the past such as Girls' Generation, Big Bang, IU, Girl's Day, and SISTAR were all nowhere to be found on the 2017 list. Instead, it's a changing of the guard with new rising stars taking over.
