A Twitter account was criticized for comparing bento boxes that idols prepared for their fans at the '2017 Idol Star Athletics Championship'.

The recording for the annual event took place on January 16. Many fans also attended the event for their loving idols. To show appreciation, idol groups carefully prepared bento boxes for their fans, and photos of the loving preparations roamed the web. The issue arose as a Twitter account named 'Idol Star Athletics Championship Bento Box Broadcast Bot' started analyzing the bento boxes by each idol group.

The tweets compared the quality of the bento boxes and made comments such as,

"As for Red Velvet, they gave out high-quality Outback-style lunch boxes but gave the lamest 'Lotteria' bulgogi burgers + 'Pepsi' cola for dinner. What was the reason for that? Because EXO's not here..? The decrease in quality might disappoint fans!"

"BTS's lunch bento boxes. Unlike a lot of groups who gave out hamburgers, Dakgangjeong, etc., they gave out fulfilling bento boxes. These people (ARMYs) must eat a lot..?"

"#Cosmic Girls. Legendary dinner bento box. It would've been perfect if they had soju for people who can't eat Jokbal without soju..."

"#ASTRO. One pizza per person. Looks very useful since they can keep it and eat it throughout the recording."

"Of course, #1 group TWICE"

Currently, netizens are criticizing the account holder for making "the dumbest account" and comparing bento boxes that were all prepared with love. Comments included, "Just eat what you get. Don't take their kindness for granted", "They turned the thoughtful efforts by the idols into nothing", "Starve these kind of people from now on!", and more.

Lol. So ungrateful.

This food came from your idol like you should just be happy they even prepared that. Not to many celebs do that for their fans.

If your kid made you a grilled cheese sandwich, but the other kid made her parents pasta, would you be disappointed in your kid's food or enjoy it because it's from your kid?

Ari_park61 Tuesday, January 17, 2017

Why do you have to compare? You may not get high quality food like someone else but ur idols put their love in that. Thats honestly selfish. I honestly would be happy and grateful for anything they gave me.

I don't see why they compare those bentos.. As one of the netizens said, you eat what you got! It's a present from the fans! It would be really rude for them..

I would just be incredibly thankful for anything I got

I love how twice included lots of extra goodies to eat!!

I actually found it interesting. And yeah, if I looked over and saw someone else had a sad little burger while I had a stuffed bento I'd be feeling a bit bad for them.

Ikr, especially that their own fans are their own source of income (Dont argue with me guys, its the truth). They should've gave them more despite the amounts of money the fans spends for them (Buying their merchandise, albums, etc). Ps. Hope you get my point.

And they didn't even need to spend a lot of money, just handing out a box that was completely homemade gives it the personal touch that no money can buy.

What are the chances that Jin cooked all of those foods?

mikaay Tuesday, January 17, 2017

You could just buy food right? It's rude on so many levels to critizise a gift from someone -.-
