K-Pop artists have been entirely edited out from yet another Chinese tv program - Guangzhou Satellite TV's 'The Remix'.

SEE ALSO: Psy points out how he didn't lose any weight even after exhausting performances at his year-end concert

Since the very beginning of the dance survival program back in June, iKON and MONSTA X  have been a part of the competition while Psy had been sitting as one of the judges. Despite their stellar performances thus far, the Korean judge and competitors did not make any appearances on the latest episode aired on August 21.

During the entire broadcast, iKON and MONSTA X were nowhere to be seen, while Psy's face was blurred out. In addition, Psy has also been removed from the program's main web page.

The current controversy regarding THAAD is assumed to have caused this occurrence.

It's okay guys their ratings fell from 0.9 to 0.2 look who's at loss. :D

well, we can't do anything about this because it's a political issue (countries)... Praying for peace in both countries... It's seems that the ratings of this survival program went drastically low (from 0.9 to 0.2 I guess) on this episode...

loving all these comments treating THAAD like it's a little thing and that China's netizens actions will be enough to convince china to unban kpop.  Like... do you know what the fight over THAAD is? You do know it's big enough to go to war over right? like angry comments online is small potatoes here.

what about vixx tho ??

Look at those ignorant ppl leaving comments in here. China is North Korea's Ally. They don't give a shit about kpop. It is a political support. You guys should go and educate yourself instead of dreaming about those Kpop celebrities. Chinese rioting LOL. They are gonna get beat up soon. Don' t worry about them.

As a Korean I am more concerned about North Korea's aggressive and unpredictable behavior and see THAAD as logically sensible and acceptable on South Korea's border. That being said, why doesn't China "discipline" or punish North Korea for such aggressive behaviors? THAAD would never have come to fruition if China was more involved in preventing NK aggressive actions. Like you said, China and NK are allies so why don't they work together to stop pissing off their neighbors? In that sense, THAAD is 100% justifiable for the safety of South Koreans and it's neighbors. So as long NK continues with their aggressive behaviors, I wouldn't be surprised if more self-defense measures are taken place in the future. Additionally, majority of South Korean's don't give 2 shits if China bans it's pop-culture. Yes, China is a huge market for K-pop culture, but in the end, China and South Korea are technically enemies if war does break out. Also, China is just as silly/childish as NK in the sense that they feel inclined to ban K-Pop just because SK hurt their feelings by deploying THAAD. I would have laughed less if China outright ceased trade with SK altogether, but they had to ban SK soft-power to "punish" SK. What a fucking joke. China can enjoy their own mediocre pop-culture all they want.. after all they stole enough content from SK entertainment to make their own unoriginal content. Like I said, South Koreans don't care as much as Chinese about Hallyu getting banned. Safety first right?

I am sorry but I laughed.  I laughed even harder when I saw they also blurred psy during his screen time. This is all so stupid that there is nothing else to do but to laugh

Viewer ratings dropped down to complete shit, so your call producers!

Also Chinese netizens are rioting right now so glad that they can show China how difficult banning K-pop is gonna be :)

where do you see chinese comments

I really wish China would stop all this banning kpop because ALOT of citizens are going to get fed up and start chaos. KPOP gets alot of money from Chinese citizens and also the other way around. China would lose so much revenue and business banning kpop like they are doing and also there are plenty of Chinese people that are in the kpop industry.

so because of THAAD Seungri will also be edited out on his program in China? go for it China also remember that you have Chinese who are working as idols in Korea and well loved by the people. For the program don't tell us that it is the law why don't you just take off IKON, VIXX, MONSTA X and PSY in the later part of your program since you know this will happen. Ah I get it because your program will receive much love if they are there right? Winner's Mino and SeungYoon, Zico, and Jay Park is also part of a program in China if they will edit them then just cut the program off. Since YG is one of the producers lol...
