This year's Chuseok special, 'Idol Star Athletics Championship, will reportedly be condensed into one episode, instead of the usual two-part event.
Many seemed suspicious that the absence of SM Entertainment artists was the reason for the condensed show, with most of SM's artists and staff heading off on their 20th anniversary trip to Hawaii, scheduled around the same period as the Chuseok special. However, SM Entertainment was revealed to have no relation to the change. Rather, the reason was due to the numerous pilot programs airing during this holiday season.

Unfortunately for fans of the 'Idol Star Athletic Championship', the show will be cut down into one episode for the first time in six years.
